Residency in Paris
But the journey doesn't stop at the pressing plant. We are proud to announce that the band has been invited for a special residency at the prestigious Athénée Théâtre Louis-Jouvet in Paris.
On April 15, 16, and 17, they will perform their new material live in an intimate setting. From the Amsterdam underground to the stages of Paris, this is the growth you are funding.
About Sons of Jumira
The trio consists of harpist Ranie Ribeiro, double bassist Julian Tjon Sack Kie and drummer Mill Voyance. Musically, the group pushes sonic boundaries by exploring improvisation, expressiveness and experimentation. Their interpretation of jazz, in which different cultural backgrounds and a non-classical playing style meet and the three members continuously respond to each other, has previously received enthusiastic responses from lovers of adventurous live music.
