Amsterdam South East-raised artist BNNYHUNNA is a leading figure in the city’s vibrant jazz scene. With his latest album Echoes of Prayer, the artist of Ghanaian descent received critical acclaim and was awarded an Edison earlier this year. Until recently, Benjamin Ankomah played in church every week, cultivating his craft as a keyboardist. These gospel roots run deep in his sound, alongside his passion for R&B and Highlife music. On Friday Nov 14, the Super-Sonic Jam regular brings together some of the finest jazz, soul and R&B musicians in Paradiso’s main hall. He’s bringing some special guests, we’re talking names like Akwasi and Ranie Ribeiro, and who knows who else he might surprise us with. On Sunday Nov 16, he's right back at it and then he will bless us on Sunday with Faithful Frequencies during a Sunday afternoon service. You already know, it’s going to be a family thing.
