Berlin-based collective Jembaa Groove is emerging as a key voice in the new wave of Afro-jazz and contemporary highlife. Their music draws from the rich tradition of Ghanaian highlife while opening new pathways through soul, funk and jazz. Since their acclaimed debut album Susuma (2022) and the follow-up Ye Ankasa / We Ourselves (2024), Jembaa Groove has been steadily building an international following.
