Benjamin Ankomah, better known as Bnnyhunna, is a Ghanaian artist from Southeast Amsterdam. Music became his outlet during a challenging youth, learning to play piano, drums, and guitar in church. His unique sound is influenced by legends like Fela Kuti and Kendrick Lamar. After high school, he began his music career, collaborating with artists such as Rimon, Jose James, Arp Frique, and Akwasi.

Bnnyhunna writes, produces, and plays nearly all the instruments himself. His music, a blend of jazz, hip hop, R&B, and afro, reflects his West African background and authentic style. His debut project ‘SINTHA’ (2021) quickly brought him success with sold-out shows and performances at major festivals like North Sea Jazz and Down The Rabbit Hole. He is a regular guest at Super-Sonic Jazz and frequently participates in the festival and jams.

2024 is set to be Bnnyhunna’s biggest year yet with the release of his debut album, a headline tour, festival performances, and compositions for the Dutch National Opera. During his shows, he aims to stimulate all the senses of his audience, experimenting with various art forms such as photography, videography, and poetry.
