Brintex Collective is a Dutch jazz band composed of Brenn Luiten (keys), Christopher Rijckaert (drums), Joop de Graaf (bass), Tommy van Leuken (synthesizer/guitar), Antonio Moreno Glazkov (trumpet), and Diana Dzhabbar (flute/saxophone).
Brintex Collective was formed as a trio in 2020. Their jazz music is influenced by hip-hop and electronic music and draws inspiration from London and American jazz musicians such as Alfa Mist and Robert Glasper. Over the years, the band expanded to include six members. At the end of 2022, they released their first single, “Anthem.” Shortly after, they performed at ESNS in early January. In April 2023, they released their self-titled debut EP. Throughout 2023, they played at various festivals, including the Metropolis Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, Valkhof Festival, and Into the Great Wide Open. In 2024, the band is set to perform at Super-Sonic Jazz.
