Kymara

Growing up in the Netherlands, Kymara learned early on the importance of talking about and expressing your feelings. In her mid-twenties, she found her own voice through songwriting, drawing on her own life experiences. Themes such as love, identity and personal growth form the core of her music. Kymara has a warm, soulful voice with many possibilities. With her captivating lyrics, she creates an enchanting atmosphere in her music. Her songs are, in her own words, a mix of Nina Simone’s storytelling, the soul of D’Angelo and the rawness of Janis Joplin. On February 13, she will perform her work in Bitterzoet.
